This is design

Can you see how very small, subtle changes in a design can make such a huge difference? Simply adding some extra space (ah, the negative space!) and adding a correct “icon” – that is, a symbol that conveys an information without requiring any kind of explicit thinking or cognitive load – Apple has transformed a total mess to an elegant example of good design.

PS: this does’t change my opinion on Apple: they have moved from “revolution” to “evolution”. Fair enough, but not enough.
